Washington, D.C.-based Capitol Meridian Partners has made a strategic investment in Clarity Innovations, enhancing the Columbia, Md.-based software firm’s ability to pursue deals with the U.S. government and the national security industry. Terms of Capitol Meridian’s transaction, which closed in the fourth quarter, were not disclosed.

“After careful consideration of strategic alternatives, we unanimously concluded that a partnership with Capitol Meridian is the best next step in achieving our vision,” said Clarity co-founder and CEO Wes Daniels, a former Marine who previously served defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton.
