Rose Associates, Inc., the New York-based multifamily real estate developer and manager, has announced the appointment of two new managing directors. Roseann Coraci has been promoted to Managing Director of Multifamily and Christopher Blackman has been hired as Managing Director of Information Technology.
An industry veteran with nearly two decades of property management experience, Coraci, 44, most recently held the position of Director, Multifamily at Rose. In her new role, she will focus on operations related to Rose’s expanding portfolio of workforce housing. Coraci initially joined Rose Associates in 2019 and has long overseen a portfolio of 20 buildings in Westchester, Long Island, Queens, and New York City. She co-founded and helps head employee resource group, “Bee-ing Women of Rose,” an internal group that supports female advancement within the Rose organization.

Christopher Blackman, 43, has recently joined Rose as Managing Director of Information Technology. He is focused on accelerating Rose’s digital transformation while ensuring the security of the company’s networks and data. Prior to joining Rose, Blackman was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Empire State Realty Trust. His expertise encompasses a broad range of areas including networking, cybersecurity, SOX, PCI/DSS compliance, and application development management. With 15 years of experience in the Yardi property management platform, Blackman was instrumental in overseeing its expansion from a compact initial system to an extensively enhanced solution.
