1-800-TruckWreck, powered by Witherite Law Group, is spreading holiday cheer in Macon, Georgia, with two special events for kids and families this holiday season. From a gift giveaway at Bruce Elementary to a family holiday party, 1-800-TruckWreck is determined to bring the Christmas spirit to as many families as possible this season.
Families are invited to join 1-800-TruckWreck at Overtyme Bar & Grill (2455 Pio Nono Ave, Macon, GA 31206) on Saturday, Dec. 9, for a cheerful holiday celebration. From noon to 3 p.m., families will enjoy complimentary food, while enjoying a DJ, music, games, and more. 1-800-TruckWreck will additionally be giving away toys for children, including dolls, tabletop games, stuffed animals, stocking stuffer gifts, and more. Families will also receive larger gifts and toys, including tablets with headphones, karaoke machines, bikes, and Walmart gift cards. The event is free and open to the public.
On Friday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m., students at Bruce Elementary (3660 Houston Ave, Macon, GA 31206) will be treated to gifts from 1-800-TruckWreck during their school Christmas party. Every student at the school will receive a gift. The 1-800-TruckWreck team, along with Bruce Elementary staff members, will purchase gifts at Five Below on the morning of the party before setting up the presents in the library. Students from each class will get to choose a gift, one at a time. In total, 1-800-TruckWreck will be gifting 300-400 presents to students. This is the third year 1-800-TruckWreck has sponsored the holiday party and gifts for students at Bruce Elementary.
“We will never get enough of seeing kids’ faces light up when we deliver gifts around the holiday season,” said Amy Witherite, owner of Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck. “We work with many families in the Macon area and realize that this is a difficult time of year for many of them. It brings us great pleasure to be able to provide a little Christmas cheer with these community events and spread goodwill.”
In addition to these holiday events, 1-800-TruckWreck recently provided hot meals and winter essential items to more than 170 homeless citizens in Macon for Thanksgiving.
