Moses Singer Appoints Isaac S. Greaney as a Partner

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Moses Singer LLP is pleased to announce the arrival of Isaac S. Greaney as a partner in its Litigation Practice Group. Greaney joins the firm from Sidley Austin LLP, where he was a partner focusing on commercial disputes. 

With more than 20 years’ experience in securities litigation and defense of securities enforcement investigations, Greaney has represented financial institutions, corporations and officers and directors in litigation involving violations of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Trust Administration Act, as well as in investigations by the SEC, DOJ, FINRA, CFTC, FERC, and various state attorneys general. He also advises clients in litigation related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, lender-debtor relationships, and other sophisticated commercial and contractual relationships.

Greaney began his legal career as clerk for long time former Court of Appeals Judge Thomas Meskill. He was an associate with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP before joining Sidley in 2004. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and his B.A. from the University of Chicago. He serves on several not-for-profit boards, including the Professional Children’s School, Mamaroneck Schools Foundation, and Swim Across America – Long Island Sound Swim.
