Urban Edge Properties (NYSE:UE) today announced that Lidl will be coming to Totowa Commons in Passaic County, NJ, joining the power center’s essential retail lineup alongside The Home Depot, Staples and Fortunoff Backyard. This new 27,270SF store brings a strong value grocery concept to complement these high-demand retailers.
“Lidl is a popular and in-demand value grocer that brings a new use to Totowa Commons,” said Leigh Lyons, SVP of Leasing for Urban Edge. “This is their second location in Passaic County, and we expect that it will increase regular traffic and visits to the center.”
Totowa Commons is located in the heart of Passaic County at the intersection of Route 80, Route 46 and Route 23, and serves Totowa, Little Falls, Woodland Park, Fairfield, and West Caldwell. The property is less than three minutes from Willowbrook Mall and Wayne Town Center and is easily accessible and visible from the roadways.
Mike Testa and Bill Farkas of Jeffery Realty Inc. represented Lidl. Leigh Lyons handled the transaction in-house for Urban Edge Properties.
