Rye Street Tavern, which has been closed at the Sagamore Spirit Distillery in Baltimore Peninsula since May 2021, is expected to reopen on May 6th. Washington, D.C.-based Clyde’s Restaurant Group (CRG) is taking over the restaurant and has been renovating the two-story, 12,000 sq. ft. building in recent months.

Rye Street Tavern will be the first Baltimore location for CRG, which currently has 12 other properties in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. CRG ran Clyde’s of Columbia until 2020.
