Selig Enterprises Welcomes Eric Austin Custom to The Works

Custom suiting and tailoring business owned by Eric Harrison will sell menswear with a modern twist in Atlanta’s Upper Westside

Eric Austin Custom, an Atlanta-based custom suiting and men’s apparel store, is the newest addition to join the collection of retailers and restaurants at The Works, Selig Enterprises’ 80-acre adaptive reuse development in Atlanta’s Upper Westside. Eric Austin Custom is owned by Eric Harrison and will open to the public on February 24.

Eric Austin Custom is located along Fashion Row at The Works, next to Taste Wine Bar and Market. The business will provide custom suiting services and offer ready-to-wear suits and accessories for customers to purchase in store. Eric Austin Custom will sell knits, turtlenecks, polos, pocket squares and other high-end menswear. Harrison’s goal for his business is to focus on more classic and traditional clothing options with a modern take.

“I am going to feature exciting, out-of-the-box styles for my customers while also staying true to the traditional American style of upscale menswear,” said Harrison. “My focus is on the fit of the outfit for each customer, and that they leave with a piece that has been carefully tailored to their exact needs. I’m excited to open my first official location at The Works and aim to expand my footprint of quality tailoring services to additional locations throughout the Southeast.”

Harrison began his journey in the tailoring business while he was a student at Georgia Southern University and has been in the industry for ten years. He is passionate about the history of menswear and has worked under several local mentors and respected professionals in the business. Harrison began Eric Austin Custom as a menswear blog in 2014 before opening his suiting business in a space in Buckhead. His location at The Works will be his first full-service store with curated pieces for purchase.

“We are pleased to welcome Eric Austin Custom to The Works, as his services and dedication to his craft will enhance our retail apparel offerings,” said Mindy Selig, Senior Vice President at Selig. “Now, we have a space for men to explore and find the perfect fit for their personal style.”
