Let’s Talk Womxn Boston, a collaboration of women restaurateurs and entrepreneurs in the food/beverage industry, announced today its annual epicurean gala event to kick off Women’s History Month. Let’s Talk Womxn’s “More Than March” event will be March 7 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Boston Harbor Distillery, located at The Port on Boston Harbor at 12R Ericsson Street in Dorchester. The annual event brings together 15+ of Boston’s top women-founded food and beverage businesses to showcase the powerhouse female talent in the Boston area. THE woman power high of the evening: 5-minute no-platitudes “herstories” told by leading Boston women on what’s needed for parity. And why March is not enough!
This gala event is in celebration of Women’s History Month and will feature tastings from over 15 top women in food and beverage in Boston, including LTW Co-Host Nancy Cushman from Bianca, Kathi Turner of Turner’s Seafood, Rising Eagle Publick House and event host Rhonda Kallman of Boston Harbor Distillery, a long-time and dedicated Let’s Talk Womxn supporter.
Let’s Talk Womxn Boston Featured Speakers, to date, are:
- Jenny Johnson – Emmy-winning TV Host and Entrepreneur
- Lindsay Milne – VP of Marketing, Meet Boston

This event is a unique opportunity for attendees to taste a variety of dishes, cocktails, and desserts, while supporting women-owned businesses in Boston’s culinary scene at one of the area’s most unique venues with live music from The Femmes, dress to “express” fashion theme and dancing.

Let’s Talk Womxn launched in the thick of the pandemic in 2020 for women restaurateurs to learn from & support each other. It has explosively evolved to much more. It is a magical innovative B-cube model of “competitors as collaborators.” Started for women restaurateurs, it has grown to include all women entrepreneurs and makers of food and drink. “Our group of female restaurateurs and entrepreneurs have built a remarkable camaraderie, providing counsel, visibility, bargaining and economic power to our group. Nationally, it has grown so much and the support here in Boston is palpable,” added Ziskin.
Tickets are $125 for VIP (two drink tickets plus an exclusive VIP gift bag) and $95 for general admission.
