Passes, a Miami, FL-based engagement and revenue making platform for creators, raised $40m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Bond Capital, with participation from Abstract Ventures, Crossbeam Ventures, Emma and Jens Grede (founders of SKIMS), Alexandra Botez (professional poker/chess streamer), and more. In conjunction with the funding, Mood Rowghani joined Passes’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations (engineering, operations, creator support, marketing, and sales teams) and its development efforts.
Launched 14 months ago by Lucy Guo, CEO, Passes provides a subscription and CRM platform for creators to connect with fans through exclusive content and experiences, and monetize their work.
According to the company, ~1000 creators have made tens of millions on the platform and its next products will add additional revenue streams for them.
