The National Architectural Glass and Metal Association (NAGMA), in partnership with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT), will host the second in a series of our free webinar Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 2:00 pm EST. “High-Performance Façades,” is Session 2 of the 2024 Webinar Series, which was designed to provide a free and convenient educational resource for the design and construction community.
“High-Performance Façades” will be presented by Helen Sanders of Technoform. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to balance design freedom with energy performance, daylight, views, thermal comfort, and condensation resistance.
The NAGMA-IUPAT hosted webinar series began in 2024 as a means to support glazing contractor continuing education and to foster engagement with other design and construction professionals. Webinars are designed for architects, glazing contractors, construction managers, building envelope consultants, facility managers, facility owners, engineers and others interested in learning about glass and glazing products and issues. Programs are AIA approved and eligible participants may earn AIA/CES credit.
Webinar Session 1, “Electrochromic Glazing,” was held Wednesday, January 24, 2024. The webinar saw 86 attendees who were able to learn about electrochromic glazing technology from Carl Newhouse of SageGlass®.Session 2 will be followed by two additional sessions scheduled in July and October.
There is no charge to attend the NAGMA-sponsored programs, but space is limited. Register or sign up for webinar updates online at https://www.nagmassociation.org/webinars/.
