LUTHERVILLE, Md. (May 30, 2024)–The National Kidney Foundation Serving Maryland and Delaware (NKFMDDE) proudly announces that Executive Director Patricia “Pattie” Dash, was one of 10 women recently inducted into to The Daily Record‘s Top 100 Women Circle of Excellence.
Dash and the fellow inductees earned this distinction by being named to the Daily Record’s listing of Top 100 Women in 2024, for a third and final time. In its 29th year, Maryland’s Top 100 Women was founded to recognize outstanding achievements by women demonstrated through professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring.
“The 2024 Maryland’s Top 100 Women demonstrate passion, confidence, influence and individuality. Their energy is contagious, and their actions and deeds are inspirational,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/The Daily Record. “This year’s Circle of Excellence honorees have broken barriers, changed the norm and mentored the next generations to achieve greatness.
Dash, who was previously named to the Top 100 Women listings in 2016 and 2021, said she is “honored to be included among such a distinguished group of women and be inducted into the prestigious Circle of Excellence, and look[s] forward to continuing to give back to the community.”
With 40+ years as a nonprofit leader, Dash provides strategic vision and collaborative leadership for NKFMDDE. In addition to overseeing the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives, programs, services and business operations, she directs advocacy and marketing initiatives to expand the organization’s reach and improve the health of those individuals living with kidney disease.
Prior to joining NKFMDDE in 2015, Dash spent her entire career with Girl Scouts of Central Maryland – starting as an intern and steadily moving up to chief development officer. A Leadership Baltimore County board member and alum committee chair, Dash also is an Executive Alliance board member, co-chair of the partnership committee and member of the marketing committee.
A graduate of both Leadership Baltimore County and the Network 2000 Mentoring Program, Dash earned a Certificate of Non-Profit Management from the Mandel Center for Non-Profit Organizations – Case Western Reserve University.
