Living Word Christian Center (LWCC) and Eden Career Institute are partnering to host a job fair featuring high-paying trade jobs, on Friday, June 28 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Living Word Christian Center, 7600 W. Roosevelt Road, Forest Park, Ill. Major county and state departments like Illinois Tollway and Cook County Circuit Clerk, in addition to various trades and labor unions, will be onsite actively recruiting for positions. Representative Kim DuBuclet will attend the event to welcome and encourage attendees. The event is free and open to the public.
Titled Step Into Your Future: Interactive Trade Expo and Job Resource Fair, this interactive employment fair will feature more than there 30 hiring and trade demonstration exhibitors looking to fill critical positions within their companies. There will be more than a dozen hands-on demonstrations. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how they can qualify for high-paying trade jobs with great benefits and stable employment. Local union and educational representatives will also be onsite to discuss job openings, apprenticeships, community resources, and more.
There will be a free continental breakfast available to attendees starting at 9 a.m. Afternoon snacks will be provided as well.
