Revo Development announced today that it has closed on the sale of 800 Tanyard Road in Rocky Mount, VA to RM Chicken, LLC, for the development of a new Zaxby’s restaurant. The property was formerly occupied by a 3,200 square foot Burger King restaurant that vacated prior to Revo Development’s acquisition of the property.
“Our strategy is to acquire value-add retail properties in busy corridors with appealing demand drivers that allow us to re-activate the property with a new use” stated Brandon Cannon, President of Revo Development. “We were able to execute on that strategy in this situation where we found a growing operator that will bring a recognizable brand to the Town of Rocky Mount, which is a win for everyone involved” added Cannon. The Town of Rocky Mount is the county seat of Franklin County, Virginia and Tanyard Road is the primary retail corridor in Rocky Mount.
