Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann is pleased to announce that Jake Schulman has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Mr. Schulman focuses his practice on transactional commercial and residential real estate, real estate development, and finance, as well as business transactions and contracts.
Mr. Schulman provides comprehensive legal services that address both transactional needs and related litigation matters, making him a valuable asset to clients in a wide range of business and real estate matters. He is experienced in mortgage and asset-based lending, real estate and business workouts, and dispute resolution, as well as debtor/creditor law and bankruptcy, complex business litigation, and the formation and structuring of business organizations. Additionally, he handles closings and title work.
At the start of his legal career, Mr. Schulman was a litigator handling a variety of complex business disputes ranging from fraud and Ponzi schemes to simple landlord/tenant issues, as well as construction litigation, environmental law litigation, and employment litigation. Since then, he has expanded his scoop to a wide array of residential and commercial transactions, including leases, acquisitions, and developments.
Outside the office, Mr. Schulman is an active member of the Jewish Federation and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
After graduating from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, he earned his juris doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
