TA PLLC, a business law firm, is pleased to announce that firm partner Karl Klein has been elected to The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors for a second term. He was sworn in at the Bar’s Annual Convention on June 21, 2024, and will serve through June 2026. For the next year, Klein has been appointed Vice Chair of the Board Technology Committee and will continue his positions on the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence Tools & Resources and Mental Health & Wellness of Florida Lawyers Committee.
“For me, being a member of the Board of Governors is a responsibility to consider our profession’s future, particularly regarding AI and attorney wellness, and how to best prepare Florida lawyers as our profession evolves,” said Klein.
Since joining the Board of Governors in 2023, Klein has also served as the liaison to The Florida Bar’s Mental Health & Wellness of Florida Attorneys committee. This committee is responsible for developing initiatives and educational programs to destigmatize mental health illness and promote positive mental and physical wellness practices among attorneys. Klein has served on the committee since 2019 and previously held the roles of Vice-Chair (2020-2021) and Chair (2021-2023).
