Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity ReStore to Host Customer Appreciation Day

Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce that its ReStore will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Day on Friday, August 2nd, 2024, as part of Elevation Church’s LOVE Week. The event will take place at the Greater Matthews Habitat ReStore, located at 2447 East John Street in Matthews, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Customer Appreciation Day will feature special discounts, giveaways, and refreshments to thank the community for their continued support. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about GMHFH’s programs and how they can get involved.

Tim Long, ReStore Manager, emphasized the importance of shopping at the ReStore: “Every purchase at our ReStore directly supports Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide affordable housing. When you shop with us, you’re not just finding great deals—you’re helping build homes and strengthen our community.”

Elevation Church’s LOVE Week is an annual event that encourages members to volunteer and support various community initiatives. According to Elevation Church, LOVE Week is an “opportunity to serve communities around the world.” GMHFH is proud to be part of this meaningful week and looks forward to celebrating with its customers and supporters.

About Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity

Since 1989, Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity has addressed the lack of affordable housing in our area by providing decent homes with an affordable mortgage to help lower-income families obtain self-sufficiency and break the cycle of poverty. Habitat partner families help build their home alongside volunteers and make regular mortgage payments. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, you can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance that they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, please visit www.greatermatthewshabitat.org.
