Kushner officially broke ground July 31st on a new signature residential community that will blend modern elegance with the charm and character of its sought-after Colts Neck, New Jersey location.
Rising at 7 Route 537, Livana Colts Neck will offer an unparalleled suburban living experience. The community will present 360 meticulously designed rental residences spread across 15 buildings, along with a fully-amenitized clubhouse, each thoughtfully crafted with a modern farmhouse exterior to harmonize with the surrounding picturesque landscape of Colts Neck. The three-story structures, designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, will seamlessly blend into the existing fabric of this highly desirable neighborhood.
Principals of Kushner hosted Colts Neck Mayor Frank Rizzuto, Township Committee members, and other local dignitaries to mark the commencement of the project.

Representing the township at the groundbreaking ceremony was Colts Neck Deputy Mayor Tara Torchia Buss, who said “I want to make sure that everybody here understands that we really want to be a welcoming community to all 360 units that are coming here. There’s going to be a lot of people, and we’re going to partner with everybody.”
The groundbreaking in Colts Neck culminates an active year for Kushner in Monmouth County. The developer recently began redeveloping the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown into Monmouth Square, transforming it into a modern town center that will feature 1,000 residential units, 900,000 square feet of retail, an active public green space, and pedestrian pathways. Additionally, Kushner broke ground on a mixed-use residential and retail development in Long Branch, which will include 299 rental residences, a SuperFresh grocery market, and a neighborhood café, enhancing the Lower Broadway corridor and connecting downtown to the beachfront while integrating with Kushner’s vibrant Pier Village community, including the Wave Resort & Spa.
In Northern New Jersey, Kushner recently launched leasing at two new luxury rental communities developed on former vacant office building sites. Livana Fair Lawn features 307 residences for those 55 and better, while Livana East Hanover offers 265 residences.
Additionally, Kushner is actively developing its ambitious 1723-unit One Journal Square project in Jersey City, adjacent to the PATH Station. The nearly $1 billion mixed-use development, one of the largest in the region, will create over 2 million square feet of residential, retail, amenities, parking, and open space in the heart of the historic and well-connected Journal Square neighborhood.
