About Central Pointe Church of Christ

In the late summer of 2000, Dr. Reginald B. Dulin seized the opportunity to further the cause of Christ in a new territory while addressing the needs of Dallas West Church of Christ members commuting from heavily populated and fast-growing Southern Dallas County and communities south of Interstate 20. In September 2000, thirty members of the newly formed Central Pointe Church of Christ held their first Bible Class in the chapel of the Cedar Crest Place Funeral Home. On October 1, 2000, the congregation settled at 1003 N. Cockrell Hill in Duncanville, Texas, which it later purchased. In 2003, Central Pointe purchased its current property located at 7440 S. Westmoreland Road, Dallas, Texas. Central Pointe has grown to a congregation numbering over 1,000 and serves the spiritual needs of members throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex, and globally via its online membership. In 2006, Dr. Rodney D. Dulin was named Senior Minister and still serves faithfully in this capacity today. On June 7, 2009, the Dr. R. B. Dulin Children’s Worship Center was dedicated to honor the legacy of the church’s founding pastor. For more information on Central Pointe, please visit centralpointechurch.org.
