The Highlands School to Host 22nd Annual Big Event

The Highlands School, a K-8 independent school in Bel Air that educates students with learning differences and achievement gaps, will host its 22nd annual Big Event on October 13th and 14th.

The Big Event will span two days, with the 5k race/1-mile Fun Walk at the Ma and Pa Trail on the 13th  and the golf tournament, pickleball tournament and tennis tournament, dinner and auction at Maryland Golf and Country Clubs on the 14th.

“We are excited to host our highly anticipated 22nd annual Big Event. The Big Event is consistently one of Harford County’s largest fundraisers,” said Claudia Nachtigal, Head of School. “Last year, we raised a record amount to help change the lives of students in our community, and we hope to raise even more this year. The generosity of our Big Event supporters helps open doors so that children with learning differences can access the education that they need.”

The Highlands School is seeking sponsors for the Big Event and participants for the 5k race/1-mile Fun Walk, golf, pickleball and tennis tournaments.
