Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann is pleased to announce that Jonathan Carver has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Mr. Carver’s practice is focused on commercial litigation, business litigation, and contracts.
Mr. Carver’s experience includes first-party property litigation, appellate work, attorney malpractice, personal injury, and general liability. His work also extends to complex contract cases, breach of fiduciary duty, non-compete matters, and class actions.
Mr. Carver is recognized for his creative problem-solving abilities, which he attributes to his unique background in professional sports. Prior to pursuing his legal career, he worked with several organizations in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in basketball operations and analytics. This experience has given him a competitive edge in both litigation and negotiation.
Mr. Carver earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2019, followed by an LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts & Sports in 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business.
