Benefit Street Partners — a leading, credit-focused alternative asset management firm for institutions and high-net-worth investors — is providing the project’s financing, with an aggregate loan amount of $210.0MM, bifurcated between a Senior Loan of $157.5MM and a Mezzanine Loan of $52.5MM, bringing the total estimated development cost to $313.2MM.
Additionally, Plaza Construction – one of the nation’s foremost construction management and general contracting firms in commercial, corporate, and residential properties – has just confirmed their role on the project as General Contractor.
The 1800 Avenue project, designed by Handel Architects, will offer 282 luxury residential units for sale. The development will include 45,000 square feet of amenities such as a lounge, spa, fitness center, half-basketball court, multi-media room, kids’ room, game room, library, and co-working space. Outdoor amenities will include a pool, dining and kitchen stations, a sun deck, a fire pit, and lounge seating.

The surrounding neighborhood of Port Imperial boasts 2.5 miles of waterfront residential and commercial development on the Hudson River, directly across from Midtown Manhattan.
