The Many Settle into New Santa Monica Office

The Agency Relocated from Historic Pacific Palisades Location

Award-winning, independent, creative and integrated marketing agency The Many is moving its offices to Santa Monica from nearby Pacific Palisades, CEO/founding partner Christian Jacobsen announced today.

“While we will miss the beach and the historic value of our PCH office, we are moving our operations back to Santa Monica to provide a broader scope of amenities to our staff in a space that is better designed to foster a real sense of creative collaboration and community for our brand,” Jacobsen said. “In short, our brand is about fostering and harnessing the power of participation, and this new location and layout is more aligned with our vision and positioning.”

The Many’s mission is creating brand relevance for a participatory culture that wants to engage, discuss, connect, and share. Its motto: “We don’t do passive.”

The new office at 1351 4th St. will feature participation-minded, state-of-the-art elements that will be revealed when the transition is complete in Q4.

The Many (formerly known as Mistress) was founded in 2010 in Venice Beach, California. The Many is one of the first companies to ever have a hybrid work culture, allowing team members to work from anywhere since their inception, while having a base of operations in Los Angeles. Originally establishing their headquarters in the LA area to focus on entertainment work, the agency scaled to capitalize on the boom in social media and digital work in 2015, moving operations to Michigan Ave in Santa Monica. In 2019, they scaled once more and spent six months building out their most recent space on the PCH before deciding to move back to Santa Monica this year and reposition themselves as a more participatory and community-focused organization.
