Sedron Technologies Creates 30+ High-Paying Jobs In Northwest Indiana As Varcor Facility Nears Completion

Sedron Technologies, a leader in advanced water and waste upcycling technologies, proudly announces the creation of more than 30 high-paying jobs in Northwest Indiana as the company moves closer to the much-anticipated completion of its state-of-the-art Varcor® facility at Curtis Creek Dairy. The facility began ramping up operations in April 2024, creating these high-paying regional manufacturing-style jobs.

Sedron Technologies plans to continue attracting regional talent and creating new positions through 2024 as the facility methodically expands operations in line with scheduled construction and commissioning phases. By the end of 2024, the company is projected to have these long-term jobs filled, including roles such as Industrial Maintenance Technicians, Industrial Equipment Operators, Process Operators, and Lab Analysts.

“We are thrilled to bring these quality jobs to Northwest Indiana,” said Mackenzie Reider, Chief People Officer at Sedron Technologies. “Our investment in this region goes beyond just building a facility; we’re investing in people and their futures. These positions offer competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to be part of a revolutionary technology that’s changing the face of sustainable agriculture. The individuals we have hired and those we seek will drive innovation for years to come.”

At the heart of the new facility, located in Fair Oaks, Indiana, is the Varcor® system, a transformative technology designed by Sedron Technologies that efficiently converts manure into clean water for cows, dry, sterile, and stable solids for bedding or soil amendments, concentrated liquid organic nitrogen fertilizer, and dry organic fertilizer.

The facility represents a monumental leap toward environmental sustainability and operational efficiency for Curtis Creek Dairy, a staple of agricultural excellence since its establishment in 1999. Spanning 50,000 square feet, the $80 million project has been meticulously developed by Sedron Technologies, with construction scheduled to conclude late 2024.

“The economic impact on Fair Oaks and the surrounding region is just the beginning of what we hope will be a nationwide revolution in agricultural waste management,” said Stanley Janicki, Chief Commercial Officer of Sedron Technologies. “In that spirit, we are bringing on talented team members who embrace our commitment to pioneering sustainable solutions in agriculture. By converting manure into clean water, fertilizers, and other useful products, we’re not only improving operational efficiency for our partners but also setting a new standard for environmental responsibility in the industry.”
