WESTWOOD, Mass., Sept. 16, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Corza Medical is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Abair as its new Vice President, Legal and Chief Compliance Officer. With more than 20 years of legal experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors, Mr. Abair brings a wealth of expertise to Corza Medical.
Mr. Abair comes to Corza Medical from Highridge Medical, LLC, a spin-off of Zimmer Biomet and ZimVie, where he served as Division General Counsel. Prior to Highridge Medical, Mr. Abair served as Associate General Counsel at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, Inc. and as Associate Vice President of Technology Transfer at the University of Texas Medical Branch and worked as an attorney at the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Mr. Abair holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Geology from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law.
