Millennium, the renowned vegan restaurant, marks its 30th anniversary on September 26th, announced Director of Operations / Co-Owner Alison Bagby.
The celebration includes happenings throughout September, culminating in a big event on September 26 featuring live music, a raffle and silent auction, full bar, and a menu of seasonal flatbreads with classic and current savory and sweet favorites. Tickets are limited.
Chef / Principal Owner Eric Tucker has led Millennium since 1994, with one of the first- and still one of the best upscale vegan dining experiences in existence. “Millennium’s commitment to local ingredients, sustainability, bold flavors, and artistic presentation has always been influential in the plant-based dining scene, “ said Tucker.
Tucker continued, “Reaching our 30th anniversary is a profound milestone and a testament to the collective passion and dedication that has brought us here. We are grateful we’ve been able to remain true to our roots of creating seasonal, local, globally inspired and farm-driven cuisine.”
Bagby reflected, “We are thankful for our loyal patrons and the vibrant and diverse community that has supported us for three decades from San Francisco to Oakland and to programs like Dining For Justice that allow us to give back.”
Tucker added, “We’re excited to share this moment in time with anyone who wants to be a part of it, and are extremely grateful to everyone who has been along for the ride.”
