Hgen Raises $5M Seed Funding

Hgen, a Hawthorne, CA-based company that makes clean hydrogen to decarbonize heavy industry, raised $5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Seven Seven Six, with participation from Founders Fund and Fontinalis Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the commercial deployment of its technology at customer sites.

Led by CEO Molly Yang, Hgen makes clean hydrogen to decarbonize heavy industry. Its alkaline electrolyzer converts water and electricity into clean hydrogen, which is used as feedstock in industrial processes like chemicals and steel production.
