Experience the Art of Orange Li and Johnnie Grinder at the 3 Acres

Join resident artists Orange Li and Johnnie Grinder for “Open Studio at 3 Acres: Liminal Space – Myth, Pain, and the Cosmic Journey” on September 26 from 6 to 9 pm. This rare opportunity allows you to step into the creative world of two dynamic artists and engage in an evening of conversation, art appreciation, and reflection.

Immerse yourself in the liminal spaces between dream and reality, light and dark, as Orange Li unveils her personal Divine Comedy through fictional figures such as “Niwawa” and the “Hell Courtesan.” These visual narratives unapologetically convey an oppressed herstory while inviting you to embark on a transformative healing journey that explores the elements of nature, spirituality, and the inner cosmic landscape.

Johnnie Grinder will guide you through “The Tunnels of the Mind,” a series of works that delve into the labyrinth of human consciousness. Through an anthropological and psychological lens, he contemplates the meaning of life. As an archaeologist of the future, Johnnie seeks to decipher the cryptic language woven throughout his artistic narrative.

The artists dedicate their days and nights to creating their magic in their 3 Acres studio, and now they invite you to witness their worlds firsthand. The Open Studio will feature original paintings, drawings, books, fine art prints, and art jewelry. Attendees will have the chance to hear the stories behind each piece and bring home artworks that resonate with them.

Special Offer:

Dine at our neighbor restaurant, “The Table,” on the day of the event, and receive a complimentary fine art print from the artists when you present your receipt.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the artists and their work in an intimate and inspiring setting.
