The 2024 event raised $30,000 for the Maryland Food Bank
Point Breeze Credit Union hosted its annual “The Harvest” Golf Tournament, as members and supporters enjoyed the charitable occasion.
Hosted by The Country Club of Maryland in Towson, MD, this year’s tournament raised $30,000 for the Maryland Food Bank.
Members, employees, and business partners joined together to celebrate Point Breeze’s commitment to its communities, matching last year’s $30,000 donation. Through these funds, the Maryland Food Bank will further its hunger-relief efforts throughout the state.
Including this year’s tournament, Point Breeze has raised a combined $190,000 in donations to the Maryland Food Bank, with no signs of community support slowing down.
Golfers competed for honors including Top 4 teams (Captain’s Choice/Scramble), Longest Drive (Men’s & Women’s), Hole in One, Closest to the Pin and various door prizes.
“We are thrilled with the success of this year’s ‘The Harvest’ golf tournament,” said Tonia Niedzialkowski, President and CEO of Point Breeze Credit Union.
“At Point Breeze Credit Union, we are committed to being good neighbors and giving back to the communities we serve. With the generosity of our members, friends, families, and business partners we were again able to support the vitally important work of the Maryland Food Bank. A special thanks to the Country Club of Maryland for hosting this year’s tournament.”
“At Maryland Food Bank, our success in feeding food-insecure neighbors and addressing the root causes of hunger is made possible by our dedicated community partners,” said Carmen Del Guercio, President and CEO of the Maryland Food Bank. “We thank Point Breeze Credit Union for their generous contribution this year, and the continued support of their entire community.”
