Marivi Bryant Named President of Goodbeast

Marivi Bryant, an agency executive with more than 20 years of marketing experience, has been named president of Goodbeast, an experiential marketing agency with offices in Portland, Oregon and Washington, D.C. Applying her extensive background from both in-house and agency work, Bryant plans to lead Goodbeast with a people-first approach, breaking traditional agency norms. Her efforts will be based on the framework established in 2017 by Founders Jay McDowell, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Experience Officer Kurt Roberts.

“At Goodbeast, we are spearheading a new era in the industry, where both our staff and clients are valued and empowered to thrive in a nurturing, creative and collaborative environment,” said Bryant, a professional with extensive experience in the sports, culture and entertainment sectors– and a proven track record with renowned organizations such as the Phoenix Suns, NASCAR, State Farm and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

In her role, Bryant will focus on company growth through new business development, employee engagement, client relationships and achieving client goals. According to Roberts, Bryant’s leadership will enable Goodbeast to expand its services and take on larger, more complex projects, fostering rapid growth.

“With Marivi on board we’re excited to continue implementing complex, large-scale experiences in new spaces and industries,” said Roberts. “Her ability to focus on what truly matters to clients makes her a perfect fit and we are eager to see her leadership drive growth for both our clients and our agency.”

McDowell agrees that Bryant’s leadership will benefit staff and clients alike and build on the core values that have always made Goodbeast unique.

“We created Goodbeast to be an agency where everyone wanted to work,” he said. “We bring unique services to the market that are focused on human connection– and that connection is prioritized not only in our work, but also our relationships with clients, partners and staff. With Marivi’s incredible track record in marketing strategy and making clients shine, she will help us grow and nurture our existing relationships, as well as many new ones.”

“I’m excited to join such an extraordinary team,” added Bryant. “The company’s commitment to collaboration and transparency aligns perfectly with my values. I’m looking forward to contributing to its continued growth and success.”

Bryant earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Toledo in Ohio and an Executive MBA from Arizona State University. Passionate about the arts, she has been involved in numerous organizations, including Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Slow Burn Theatre Company. She resides in Traverse City, Michigan, with her husband, Mat, and their two children.
