Urban Edge Properties (NYSE:UE) has signed new leases with Mattress Firm and breakfast, brunch and lunch destination First Watch to join the tenant line-up at Marlton Commons. The two will occupy street-level spaces in a new construction 10,000 SF pad site where formerly a Friendly’s restaurant stood. Additionally, a national Mediterranean fast-casual favorite will also join the mix.
First Watch is a growing national restaurant group focusing on daytime dining serving breakfast, brunch and lunch using fresh ingredients. This flagship location will feature a new prototype concept in 3,800 SF. Mattress Firm will occupy 3,310 SF in the new building, moving across the street to improve their location and adjacencies.

Marlton Commons is a dominant power center located in the South Jersey market at the intersection of Routes 70 and 73, anchored by national retail brands including ShopRite, Kohl’s and PetSmart. A popular upscale wine and spirits store, Wineworks, draws customers from the surrounding communities and fast casual restaurants Shake Shack and honeygrow were recently added in another new outparcel building.
