
Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with The Virginia Home for the third quarter (Q3) of 2024 through their Thalhimer Gives program, a companywide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving. The Virginia Home’s mission is to provide compassionate and professional residential care to adult Virginians with physical disabilities.
Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations.

- Thalhimer donated a total of $6,490 to The Virginia Home for Q3. Throughout the quarter, Thalhimer’s associates provided $3,245 through various associate donations, and the company matched that amount dollar-for-dollar.
- Giving generously of their time
- Richmond associates volunteered with The Virginia Home at four events:
- Played Bingo with the residents at their Fun & Games event.
- Completed a library refresh, inspecting and disposing of old and outdated books and magazines, and sorted through their DVD collection.
- Joined the residents for arcade games in the gym, playing corn hole, bowling, and other easy-going games.
- Organized a beautification of their memorial site, creating flower arrangements for headstones and helping to beautify the memorial area by pulling weeds, picking up trash, and cleaning off headstones.
- Provided items needed for The Virginia Home
- Richmond associates also purchased various supplies for residents’ daily needs, such as toiletries, sun protection, items to decorate their rooms, arts and crafts supplies, and gift cards for community outings.
- Purchased prizes to award the residents at their weekly arcade games.
- Hosted a book drive to fill their refreshed library
