The 14th annual HOWLOWEEN Festival, hosted by PAWS4you, is returning bigger and better this year on Saturday, October 19, at their new location on Palmetto Bay Park. Families and their furry friends are in for a spooktacular glow-in-the-dark celebration under the Full Moon, filled with festive activities, costume contests, incredible prizes, live entertainment, and so much more. The event will be emceed by the renowned Miami attorney, host, and business leader Lauren Marsicano.
This year, PAWS4you is proud to partner with Cat Network, This is the Dog, K9 Counseling Dogs, and Beagle Brigade. These partnerships bring together local rescue organizations to increase awareness and support animal welfare efforts.

Exciting Highlights of the 2024 HOWLOWEEN Festival:
- Costume Contests: It’s time to dress up your furry friend for the doggie costume contest, where fantastic prizes await! Judges include notable figures such as Mayor Cunningham, Gina Tomasetti (@MallowFrenchie), Genevieve Blair, Brooke Saewitz, and Flavia Berti, along with Board Members David Sampedro and Greg Katsikas.
- Registration for the costume contest closes at 7:30 PM.
- The contest begins promptly at 8:00 PM.
- Doggie Agility Course: where dogs compete through an obstacle course for “Scooby Snacks.” They will be timed and judged on speed and accuracy.
- Live entertainment: performed by the School of Rock Performance, Beagle Brigade Demonstration, Parade of PAWS Pups, Costume Contest and DJ Dance Party
- Trick-or-Treating & Activities: Kids and pets can enjoy trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, games, and live entertainment throughout the night. Don’t miss the chance to meet some of PAWS4you’s rescue dogs and learn more about the organization’s mission and rescue services.
- Vendor Village: Explore more than 40 vendor booths offering a range of delicious food, drinks, and specialty items. Guests can also enjoy beer and wine bars available throughout the evening, with proceeds benefiting PAWS4you.
This family-friendly event is perfect for pet lovers of all ages and offers a unique opportunity to support the community’s needy animals. There will also be Halloween portraits, a pumpkin patch for family photos, raffles, giveaways, and adoptable dogs eager to find their “fur-ever” homes.
More than 2,500 attendees are expected to join the fun at this year’s HOWLOWEEN Festival, with over 40 vendors offering a variety of food, refreshments, and pet-related goods. Guests are encouraged to come hungry and thirsty, as all proceeds from the event will directly support PAWS4you’s life-saving mission of rescuing dogs from euthanasia and finding them loving homes.
