Geis Companies, a multi-generational & national, family-owned real estate firm, has begun work on a 65,720 square-foot mixed-use service and sales facility for Rush Truck Centers in Huntley, Illinois. This is the 15th Rush Truck Center project Geis has been awarded.

Located at 11816 S. Route 47 in McHenry Country on the north side of Kreutzer Road, Rush Truck Centers has purchased 12 acres next to its existing facility for the new project. Geis plans to deliver a Class A building to its client. This includes demolishing the existing 32,000-square-foot facility to make way for additional parking and organized associates.
Construction will begin in November, with an estimated completion in Q1 of 2026. The project will be done in three phases.
Phase #1 – Site work and renovation of existing leasing offices.
Phase #2 – Construction of new 65,720 S.F. mixed-use Office and Parts Service and Storage with Truck Repair Garage.
- Exterior walls made of resilient insulated precast concrete panel walls.
- Roof constructed of cool-roof mechanically fastened white TPO membrane.
- High-efficiency heating and cooling systems with environmentally friendly new refrigerants.
- Upgraded forward-facing materials for route 47 facing elevations.
- Service Shop with new configuration allowing (11) bays that can house (33) trucks at (22) OHD’s. (3) Bus Bays that can house (6) Buses at (6) OHD’s.
Phase #3 – demolition of the existing 32,000 S.F. U-shaped Service building and completion of all upgraded landscape areas.
