Bonchon Fried Chicken Leases 2,900 Square Foot Retail Space at Moxy Miami South Beach Hotel

Bonchon, the popular Korean fried chicken chain, has secured a prime retail location at the base of The Moxy Miami South Beach Hotel at 915 Washington Avenue. The new 2,900-square-foot space marks the brand’s expansion into the vibrant Miami Beach market and is set to open by year-end.

Vicki Freeman of Comras Company represented the landlord, while Ryan Brodsky of Colliers represented Bonchon.

“Comras Company has been working with The Moxy South Beach since it was built, and it’s been a fantastic addition to the South Beach scene,” said Freeman. “We’re thrilled to have secured another great tenant for the building. Our team’s expertise in Miami Beach resulted in a collaboration to bring Bonchon to Moxy South Beach, where they’ll benefit from high pedestrian traffic from both the neighborhood and the hotel’s guests.”

The Moxy South Beach is owned by Lightstone Group, led by David Lichtenstein, a company known for its proven trak record across residential, hospitality and commercial real estate sectors. Lightstone owns five Moxy Hotel locations in New York City and recently opened one in Los Angeles.

Bonchon, founded by Jinduk Seo, is recognized globally for its signature hand-battered, double-fried chicken, offering flavors inspired by Korean cuisine. The new Miami Beach location will introduce its highly popular menu to the area. Bonchon will neighbor The Baked Bear, a dessert shop with several locations nationwide, serving freshly made ice cream sandwiches.

Comras Company serves as a trusted commercial real estate brokerage firm to best-in-class clients seeking representation in the South Florida marketplace.

The firm also recently announced “The Canopy Offices” project in Coconut Grove where they’ve signed national finance and investment tenants including ACORE Capital and Trinity Investments.
