Adds Four Lawyers
Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin is pleased to announce the addition of four attorneys to the firm – Brittany Ann Kane, Gabriela Amado, Grace Gelone, and Mark A. Umansky.
Brittany Ann Kane is an experienced trial lawyer and litigator who has substantial courtroom experience. A member of the firm’s Litigation Department, a considerable amount of her practice is related to business disputes and complex litigation throughout Pennsylvania. Brittany brings a dedication to diligence and creative solutions to each case that she takes on and enjoys handling novel, complex legal issues.
A graduate of Temple University (B.A., English, concentration Creative Writing, 2015) and the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law (J.D., 2019), Brittany served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Drexel Law Review and was a competing member of the nationally ranked Drexel Trial Team during law school. After law school she initially gained experience defending corporate healthcare facilities/owners in complex professional liability and medical malpractice actions from the pleadings through appeal, both in state and federal court. Most recently, Brittany served as an Assistant District Attorney in Chester County, Pennsylvania, where she handled the prosecution of criminal matters from investigation through verdict at trial.
Gabriela Amado is also an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department with a focus on personal injury and medical malpractice matters. A graduate of University of South Carolina (B.A. International Studies and Minor in Spanish, magna cum laude, 2020), Gabriela received her law degree in 2024 from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. While in law school, Gabriela provided pro bono services assisting those experiencing homelessness through Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Grace Gelone is a member of the Firm’s Trusts and Estates department. She assists clients with the preparation of wills, trusts, directives and powers of attorneys. Her goal is to make sure her client’s intentions and goals are fully met in ways that reduce tax liability and uncertainty. A member of the Pennsylvania Bar, Grace is also a member of the Montgomery Bar Association. A 2021 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in both Psychology and Communications, Grace received her law degree from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law in 2024.
Mark A. Umansky is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, focusing primarily on cases involving civil and commercial litigation. Mark provides strategic legal solutions for a broad range of clients, including businesses, individuals, and organizations in matters of contract disputes, business litigation, and other complex commercial issues. A graduate of Villanova University School of Law in 2024, while in law school, Mark served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Elizabeth T. Hey of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also clerked at an immigration firm, using his native knowledge of the Russian language to assist individuals seeking to immigrate to the United States. Mark received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2020. Prior to law school, Mark spent several years in the marketing field, working with large corporations in growing and developing their digital presence and marketing efforts. Earlier, Mark was employed as a private investigator, conducting investigations into matters of insurance and workers’ compensation fraud.
