Community Foundation of Broward Awards 40 Nonprofits $10,000 Grants

The Community Foundation of Broward is proud to announce the winners of its celebratory “40 for 40: Spread the Love Grants.” To commemorate its 40th anniversary, the Community Foundation is awarding $400,000 total to help 40 nonprofits make a BOLD impact and shape a brighter future for Broward.

After a rigorous application process of over 200 applicants, President and CEO Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D., presented the “40 for 40: Spread the Love Grants” to the 40 selected nonprofits at a ceremony at the Community Foundation of Broward office on Thursday, Oct. 17. The new grants – $10,000 each – will support 40 innovative, impactful opportunities for nonprofits to help the community by investing in projects and initiatives that make life better in Broward. “We are proud to celebrate our 40th anniversary with this creative grant initiative that will make a real difference across this community we love,” said O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D. “Each of these nonprofits’ creative ideas incorporate the number 40 while staying true to their mission and benefitting the community.
