Vertafore, a Denver, CO-based company providing end-to-end connectivity solutions, acquired Surefyre, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a submission and underwriting workbench platform purpose-built to empower MGAs and wholesalers.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
This acquisition will further consolidate Vertafore’s position by adding Surefyre’s AI enabled, low-code/no-code solution to its MGA ecosystem of solutions.
Founded in 2017 by Alex Bautista and Dustin Lorres, Surefyre provides a cloud-based software platform for property and casualty insurance MGAs, wholesalers, and carriers, enabling them to automate workflows and optimize operational efficiency.
Led by CEO Amy Zupon, Vertafore provides end-to-end connectivity solutions across the distribution channel, improve the client and agent experience, improving data, and streamlining essential workflows to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability for independent agencies, MGAs and carriers.
