Senior Director for the Leading Airport Concessionaire’s Vino Volo Concept Joins City’s Most Influential Women in Food, Beverage, and Hospitality
North American airport restaurateur and retailer Paradies Lagardère is pleased to announce that Larissa Dubose, the company’s senior director for its Vino Volo proprietary brand, has been inducted into the Atlanta Chapter of Les Dames d’ Escoffier International (LDEI), a global philanthropic organization of women leaders in the food, beverage, and hospitality fields. Dubose is dedicated to making wine education more inclusive and equitable and has proven herself as a business-savvy and collaborative leader.
“It is a great honor for me to be in the company of so many extraordinary women,” says Dubose. “I’m excited to work with the other Atlanta members in supporting our community and helping the next generation of female leaders thrive within the culinary industry.”
Induction to Les Dames d’Escoffier is awarded to exceptional female applicants involved in the culinary or pastry arts, farming, beverage management, hospitality, agriculture, or other fields of study. The Atlanta chapter, founded in 1996, has more than 130 members.
“We are extremely proud of Larissa,” says Claude Guillaume, senior vice president of restaurant operations for Paradies Lagardère’s dining division. “This is a well-deserved achievement, and I know she will enrich this incredible organization by inspiring confidence, creativity, and innovation in other aspiring hospitality professionals.”
Dubose is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 3, a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators, and a Champagne Master Level with the Wine Scholar Guild. She has been named on Wine Enthusiast magazine’s “Future 40” list, recognizing individuals inspiring innovation in the beverage sphere and changing how the world drinks.
As the senior director of Paradies Lagardère’s popular wine bar brand Vino Volo, Dubose uses her unique business development background within the wholesale and hospitality industries to empower a new generation of wine and spirit lovers. She is a collaborative leader passionate about developing team members while driving organizational culture.
During her career, Dubose has driven sales and growth throughout the Southeast for brands such as FIJI Water, JUSTIN, The Hess Collection, and Patrón. In her off-hours, Dubose works to redefine wine culture and bridge the gap between wine novice and connoisseur as the founder of The Lotus and The Vines, a wine education site that offers a la carte tastings and resources for gaining confidence in all things wine.
