Manhattan Skyline Brings No Standing NYC to 65-69 W. Houston Street

Luxury Vintage and Secondhand Retailer Inks Deal for Prime Location in the Heart of One of NYC’s Most Famed Shopping and Dining Districts

Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., one of New York’s leading real estate organizations, is pleased to announce a new long-term lease with No Standing NYC, a luxury vintage and secondhand retailer, at 65-69 West Houston Street, a prime street-level location at the intersection of SoHo and Greenwich Village.

No Standing NYC was founded in 2019 by New Yorkers Sari Cattan and Helena Dweck, who started out curating and selling their favorite pieces from their grandmothers’ closets.  It has since become a thriving business with items sourced from around the world and sold both in-store and online.

With a name that illustrates their support for the circular economy, No Standing NYC will occupy a 1,320-square-foot space accented by 13-foot ceilings and 75 feet of prime store frontage on the SoHo side of West Houston Street. The boutique, which was previously located at 74 Grand Street, and is now open by appointment only in a showroom located at 131 Varick Street, is expected to move to its new location at the end of November.

“We are pleased to welcome No Standing NYC to its new SoHo location,” said Joshua Roth, Senior Vice President of Retail at Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. “Sari and Helena are quintessential New Yorkers whose passion for luxury fashion and commitment to authenticity has established No Standing NYC as an important part of the fabric of the neighborhood. We know that this new, expanded location will be a valued source of ethical high-end shopping for SoHo residents and visitors alike.”

“We are thrilled to relocate our concept, which brings sustainably sourced and affordable fashion to closets everywhere, to Manhattan Skyline’s West Houston Street location,” said Helena Dweck, Co-Founder of No Standing NYC. “We look forward to welcoming new and returning customers who are in search of unique items that will stand the test of time while also remaining true to our SoHo rootsAfter years of popping up, we are finally home.”

This new deal further activates this important stretch of Houston Street, located between West Broadway and the classically-cobblestoned Wooster Street. Located just steps from Greenwich Village, NYU and Washington Square Park, No Standing NYC is situated next door to Japanese restaurant Shiki Omakase at Manhattan Skyline’s 73 West Houston Street. Manhattan Skyline Management is currently marketing two smaller stores at the W. Houston Street property. For more information, please contact Josh Roth at jroth@mskyline.com.
