Norris McLaughlin, P.A. Appoints Stuart Kossar To New York Office

The law firm of Norris McLaughlin, P.A. is pleased to announce that Stuart L. Kossar has joined the firm as an associate in the New York office in the Bankruptcy, Creditors’ Rights, and Financial Restructuring Practice Group.

About Stuart Kossar
Kossar concentrates his practice on bankruptcy reorganization and litigation matters and regularly represents secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. He has experience resolving lender liability issues as well as managing adversary proceedings, sanctions issues, claims objections and bankruptcy appeals. Kossar also works with financial institutions, private investors, businesses, and individuals in all aspects of complex commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin, P.A., Kossar worked on bankruptcy-related matters at a commercial real estate firm in New York, counseling individuals and institutional clients on litigation strategies.

Kossar earned his J.D. from Albany Law School and received his B.A. from Lehigh University. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute and is a faculty member for Lawline. Kossar is an appointed member of the Mediation Panel for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of New York.
