Island SPACE Caribbean Museum at Westfield Broward is excited to unveil its latest exhibition, Voices of Hispaniola which takes place Thursday – Saturday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. & Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. This exhibition, curated by Jean-Jacques Stephen Alexis, will be on display May 2 – June 4, 2021. Magic at the Museum Fundraising Event
Magic at the Museum Fundraising Event, the global launch and fundraiser, is an immersive digital showcase where the museum is the star! On Sunday June 6 at 6 p.m., attendees will embark on a journey either online or in-person illustrating how Island SPACE truly reflects its slogan, “a place where Caribbean cultures unite.” Hosted by South Florida TV personality Neki Mohan, the event will have appearances by notable Caribbean personalities from Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, the US Virgin Islands, St. Lucia, The Bahamas, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and South Florida. Each appearance demonstrating the rich history of the Caribbean region and celebrating the influence of colorful Caribbean culture.
