Albizu University, known worldwide for its multicultural post-graduate higher education in psychology and other human services fields, received the prestigious award for Outstanding Education from the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) at the 30th Annual Sunshine Awards luncheon and ceremony that took place at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.
“We are extremely humbled to receive this recognition from the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and I am proud to accept the award on behalf of the Albizu family,” said Dr. Sharrie Dean, Albizu University, Interim Chancellor, Miami Campus, who attended the event with other Albizu faculty members. “Providing high-quality education to uplift the Hispanic community in South Florida is a top priority for our institution, so we are honored to be recognized by this prestigious organization.”
