Curebound Wins 2024 Pantheon Award from California Life Sciences

California Life Sciences, the state’s premier life sciences trade association, has awarded Curebound the 2024 Champion of Health Equity Pantheon Award. Its dedication to advancing access to cancer care and resources for underserved communities is helping to bridge gaps in healthcare and improve health outcomes across California.

“We’re committed to be a driving force behind collaborative research and transformative cancer treatments and making those accessible to all communities — because cancer doesn’t care about the color of your skin, what gender you were assigned at birth, or what neighborhood you grew up in,” said Curebound Philanthropy Officer, Dani Dawson. “I’m especially proud of the inaugural launch of our Equity Grant Program, and having already awarded over $1M to four dedicated teams focused on addressing cancer-related disparities in underrepresented or underserved communities, since launching only few months ago.”

“Congratulations to Curebound on their well-deserved Pantheon Award,” said CLS President & CEO, Mike Guerra. “Their achievements showcase the trailblazing spirit of California’s life sciences sector. As Pantheon celebrates its 21st anniversary, it’s especially inspiring to honor innovators like Curebound, whose work in health equity is making critical strides toward a future where all patients have access to the care and resources they need to thrive.”

Pantheon unites over 500 industry leaders each year to celebrate the transformative contributions of California’s top life sciences professionals. This year’s winners were announced at the awards ceremony on November 7 in San Francisco. Visit www.califesciences.org/pantheon to learn more.
