VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC), a leading provider of aftermarket distribution and repair services for the aviation industry, has announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Northern Virginia to the Miramar Park of Commerce. The company, which has had a presence in the Park since 2014, currently occupies 142,861 sq. ft. of space. This relocation reflects VSE’s strong commitment to South Florida and its alignment with the region’s expanding business and aerospace sectors.

“We are thrilled to accommodate VSE Corporation’s corporate headquarters relocation and continued expansion at the Miramar Park of Commerce,” said Ryan Goggins, Vice President of Leasing and Marketing for Sunbeam Properties & Development, developer of the Park. “This move highlights the Park’s strategic importance as a hub for the aerospace industry in South Florida.  Additionally, The Park Miramar, our planned new mixed-use development is attracting attention from national and regional companies seeking the ideal environment for their businesses to thrive, grow and to attract and retain talent.”

VSE Corporation’s relocation will create 110 new jobs, and invest approximately $3.5 million in the new facility, contributing to the area’s economic growth. This investment will also further strengthen Broward County’s role as an aerospace industry leader.

A key player in the aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul industry, VSE, previously known as 1st Choice Aerospace, first moved to the Miramar Park of Commerce in 2014, leasing 37,473 sq. ft. of space in building MPC-22B at 3361 Enterprise Way. The FAA-certified provider, which specializes in pneumatics, fuel systems, electro-mechanical components, electrical accessories, crew seats, lavatory systems and cargo systems, expanded again in 2020 to 104,996 sq. ft. transforming part of the space, previously a Le Cordon Bleu cooking school, into a state-of-the-art aviation facility.  VSE Corporation will renovate an additional 13,000 sq. ft. of space that served as a test kitchen into corporate offices in MPC-22B at 3321-3361 Enterprise Way. In April 2024, VSE Corporation also acquired Turbine Controls (TCI) adding an additional 37,865 sq. ft. to the company’s footprint at the Park.

Currently, Miramar Park of Commerce, South Florida’s largest locally owned and managed business Park, is home to more than 40 top healthcare and aerospace companies.  While the Park is near fully leased, plans are underway in the Park to develop The Park Miramar, a 126-acre mixed-use development that will include 2,874 apartments, a 185-key hotel, 340,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space with a grocery store, another 128,000 sq. ft. of office space, 7,859 parking spaces, over 30 acres of parks, active and passive open spaces with over 5 miles of trails, including  2.1 mile perimeter loop.  Sunbeam Properties plans to break ground on the project in Q4 2025.

Apol and Ryan Goggins, Vice President of Sunbeam Properties & Development, represented the Park in the transaction. Representing VSE was Matthew Cheezem of Cushman & Wakefield.
