Amerant Bank, Florida’s bank of choice, proudly celebrated Give Miami Day on Nov. 21st, a day highlighting Miami’s spirit of generosity, with a special $15,000 surprise donation to Voices For Children Foundation. The donation check was presented to the organization by the bank’s Chairman and CEO Jerry Plush, joined by SEVP and Chief People Officer Mariola Sanchez, and SVP and Director of Community Relations Maria Olivera.
Amerant Bank donated a total of $100,000 distributed among various local organizations dedicated to making a positive impact in South Florida communities. $75,000 was donated to benefit organizations such as The Zoo Miami Foundation, Dream in Green, The Everglades Foundation, and Le Jardin Community Center, Inc. The remaining $25,000 was spread across numerous other local nonprofits.
