Realterm announced today that Sophie Dracup has joined the firm as Head of Asset Management for the United Kingdom. Dracup’s hiring underscores Realterm’s dedication to growing its UK portfolio, along with Tamsin Layton‘s onboarding as Head of UK Investments and the recent acquisitions in Croydon and Coventry.
In this role, Dracup will spearhead Realterm’s leasing and asset management activity in the UK logistics market, while contributing to the growth of its Pan-European occupier relations. She will drive the execution of business plans including leasing, development, repositioning and user engagement.
“Sophie’s years of asset management experience combined with her comprehensive understanding of industrial markets make her an invaluable addition to Realterm’s European team,” said Paul Underwood, Managing Director, International Funds, Realterm. “Her expertise will play an integral role in implementing our strategic goals in the UK market.”
Dracup brings seven years of asset and leasing management experience to her new role at Realterm. Most recently, she served as Associate Director, Asset Management at SEGRO plc, a UK REIT focused on owning, managing and developing warehousing and industrial properties. At SEGRO, Dracup was responsible for the asset management of a £950 million Greater London portfolio, which included leading the leasing strategy, asset management and operational set-up for SEGRO’s first multi-story urban industrial building. Prior to this, she served as Asset/Leasing Manager at international property developer, manager and investor, Grosvenor.
Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the University of Reading.
