Residents thank dedicated employees by contributing $200,262
Lantern Hill, the Erickson Senior Living community in New Providence, NJ, distributed more than $200,262 to eligible hourly team members through its 2024 Staff Appreciation Fund (SAF).
The SAF, made possible through generous donations from warm-hearted residents, was dispersed during a Staff Appreciation celebration on December 4. With a “Stars” theme, the event featured festive decorations, including balloons, thank-you banners, star keychain giveaways, and a giant board where employees shared messages of gratitude on star-shaped cards. Team members enjoyed star-shaped cookies, hot chocolate, fruit-infused water, and music, and they had their photos taken in front of a large “Thank You” banner.
The gifts served as a thank you for providing residents with industry-leading services that enhance the community’s engaging, worry-free lifestyle.
“The incredible generosity of residents who support the Staff Appreciation Fund matches the wonderful spirit of the season,” stated Executive Director Todd DeLaney. “In turn, our team members have earned this recognition for their caring attitudes, creativity, and diligence. Together, they make Lantern Hill an exceptional place to live and work.”
A total of 314 employees were celebrated and received a distribution from the Fund this year.
