Johnny’s Hideaway is Atlanta’s Home for Holiday Spirit

Guests can Raise Glasses of Cheer, Dance off the Season’s Indulgences, and Celebrate the Holidays at the Buckhead Landmark

The holidays are a time for tradition and nostalgia. It’s time to celebrate with friends and family, colleagues and co-workers. Where better to raise a glass of holiday cheer than Johnny’s Hideaway, Atlanta’s oldest and most beloved nightclub known for lightning-fast service, stiff drinks, and great tunes since 1978?

Do you need a place to host an ugly sweater contest, reconnect with old friends, or find a safe space away from family complications? During the holidays, this Buckhead landmark is a friendly home away from home for regulars, residents, Atlanta expats, and out-of-town visiting guests.

Tired of lame holiday hors d’oeuvres? Hungry patrons can count on Johnny’s Hideaway’s kitchen, open until 2 a.m., serving a wide assortment of late-night munchies and fan-favorite appetizers from jumbo hot wings to classic sandwiches, juicy burgers, and sizzling hot tater tots, the most-ordered item during the late-night hours.

On Saturday, Dec. 23, Johnny’s hosts its annual Customer Appreciation Holiday Evening benefiting Tongue Tie Center of Atlanta starting at 8 p.m. The cover charge is $10 per person and includes two complimentary cocktails. This is a prime opportunity to kick off the holidays, connect with friends old and new, and support a worthy cause.

Manager Chris Anthony has been at Johnny’s for six years and always looks forward to the holidays. “Our DJs are dedicated to creating a playlist that resonates with every generation, and our guests love it,” he says. “The energy is unmatched. People dance, sing along, and have the time of their lives. At Johnny’s, you never know what memorable moment is just around the corner.”

Johnny’s will have special dinner features with party favors on Dec. 31 to ring in the New Year from 6:30 p.m.-3 a.m. The menu features include an eight-ounce filet with baked potato and side salad ($36.99), eight-ounce tuna steak with baked potato and side salad ($19.99), shrimp cocktail with eight jumbo shrimp ($12.99) and red velvet cake ($12.99). Tickets are $60 and can be purchased at the bar or by calling 404-233-8026. Anthony advises not to delay, “We fill up super-fast and only have one seating on New Year’s Eve.”
