Regional Bank Grows Footprint with New 2,000-Square-Foot Branch at 78B Park Place
Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., one of New York’s leading real estate organizations, is pleased to announce that ConnectOne Bank has opened a new, 2,000-square-foot retail banking location at 78B Park Place in the Village of East Hampton. This marks the regional bank’s second location in East Hampton, joining its 14 Main Street branch.
Founded by Frank Sorrentino in 2005 after struggling to find a bank that could meet his needs as a small business owner, ConnectOne now provides personal and business banking solutions at branches across New Jersey, New York and South Florida. Situated in the heart of East Hampton, this new location supports the highly trafficked East Hampton Village, home to a robust business community — featuring 772 square feet of ground level space with 10 feet of store frontage, in addition to 1,200 square feet on a lower level.
“Congratulations to ConnectOne on opening the doors at their new East Hampton location,” said Joshua Roth, Senior Vice President of Retail at Manhattan Skyline Management Corporation. “ConnectOne’s community focus and client-first business model have proven to be a great fit and coveted amenity for the community of East Hampton. Adding this ground floor branch creates greater convenience for current clients as well as the ability to serve new customers.”
“The East Hampton community boasts a robust local economy that values our relationship banking philosophy where putting the needs of the community first is essential,” said Kevin Santacroce, ConnectOne Bank New York Market President and Long Island banking veteran. “Manhattan Skyline has been an excellent partner to secure a location in the heart of this thriving market where we can deliver an exceptional full-service banking experience.”
Neighboring tenants to ConnectOne’s new space include Les toiles du Soleil, New York Pilates, Amber Waves, Eberjey, Kumiso, and Park Place Wines & Liquors. Other East Hampton Village tenants include Vilebrequin, Nili Lotan, Diptyque, Gucci, Todd Snyder, Polo Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Loro Piana, Prada, Blue Mercury, Brunello Cucinelli and James Perse.
Roth represented Manhattan Skyline in the long-term lease transaction. ConnectOne was represented by Lee Minetree of Saunders & Associates.
