Hayden Lerner and Rasheena Wilson Join the Nonprofit’s Board of Directors
In an effort to support community growth and prosperity, People for People Fund a not-for-profit that provides interim financial support to Ulster, Orange and Sullivan County residents facing an unforeseen fiscal crisis, has announced the appointment of Rasheena Wilson and Hayden Lerner to its board of directors. In this role, Wilson and Lerner will serve as ambassadors for the nonprofit, leveraging their personal and professional backgrounds to aid People for People Fund in spreading its mission of neighbors helping neighbors.
“Rasheena and Hayden’s dedication to making a difference in their hometowns positions them as perfect additions to our advisory board,” said Nolly Climes, president, People for People Fund. “Their differing professional and personal backgrounds will enrich our board with fresh perspectives, skills and expertise. We are beyond excited to work with them and to continue to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.”
An Orange County native dedicated to driving positive change in her community, Wilson is an active member of the Junior League of Orange County and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s Alpha Gamma Eta Omega Chapter. She also serves as the president of Excelsior Unity Circle. A staff accountant at Devon Management, Wilson brings over 35 years of financial expertise to People for People Fund’s board. She continues to reside in Orange County with her five children, including four adopted, and cherishes creating lasting memories with her family through traveling and exploring new experiences together.
Lerner joins the board of directors with an extensive law background; he holds a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and an LL.M in taxation from Washington University. As a trusted estate and trust tax professional, Lerner is proficient in working with high-net-worth individuals, guiding families through the process of wealth management, tax optimization and estate management and planning. With a vast knowledge of the industry, Lerner has managed detailed tax procedures, wealth transfer methods, and evolving tax regulations and policies at private firms and family offices. Living in Texas with strong familial roots in Sullivan County, Lerner enjoys spending time with his son and traveling.
